When was the last time you told yourself how proud you were of yourself? Or are you more worried about the validation of others?

In this episode of the Her.Unlocked Podcast I am talking about the need for validation and  2 simple practices (the trust me moments and the proud of me moments) on how to trust yourself and cheer yourself on more! These are practical practices you can put into place right away to help you build yourself awareness muscle right away!

Powerful Questions to Reflect and Journal On:
1 When and why do you feel you need validation from others?
2 Where do you find yourself not trusting yourself as much right now?
3 What are you proud of yourself for in the past 24 hours?

Celebrating your accomplishments, no matter how small, can help you build confidence, motivation, and resilience in the face of challenges. When you acknowledge your progress and give yourself credit for your hard work, you cultivate a sense of self-worth and self-respect that can propel you forward towards your goals.

So take a moment to reflect on your achievements, pat yourself on the back, and give yourself the credit you deserve. Remember, self-appreciation is not only a feel-good experience but also a vital ingredient for your personal growth and well-being.

In this episode I am sharing with you an experience that stung a little bit on one of my most recent coachings calls. It brought me to recognize that being a beginner and receiving feedback has been a sticking point for me. I used to resist things that I didn’t feel I would be good at and now I am stepping into taking feedback to become better and recognize being new at something can be both fun and expansive!

And so this is just your challenge as your personal growth bestie  to reflect on something you've walked through this week where maybe you weren't your best self. How did you show up? How do you want to show up differently? What feedback did you get? How can you learn, grow, and expand because of it? And how do you let go of the shame, guilt, or judgment that you are putting on yourself?
Because that's not helpful, let's step into the version of ourselves that sees feedback as neutral and is a beginner that accepts the challenge of something new!

This woman has had such a profound impact on my life and I am so excited to bring her onto the Her.Unlocked Podcast. I sat down with Allison Cullen, who's not only a human design expert but also someone who's navigated the choppy waters of the music industry before finding her calling. We dive deep into her journey of discovering human design and how it's been a game-changer in her life.

Together, we unpack the ways human design can be a tool to help us shed those unhelpful habits and really step into who we are meant to be. Alison opens up about the delicate dance of feminine and masculine energies within us and how society often nudges us to chase after external success in a very masculine way.

We don't stop there, though. We get into the nitty-gritty of our relationship with money, living in abundance right now, and we even share pieces of our own sobriety stories. It's a heart-to-heart about the significance of looking inward and seeking divine guidance as we strive for personal growth and true satisfaction in our lives.

Being in relationship matters, we are not meant to do life alone and also we don’t have the time, energy, or capacity for surface level relationships. I'm going to get real with you and suggest that we all take a good look at our relationships, keep those positive vibes flowing with the good ones, and don't be afraid to draw the line with any that might be bringing us down.I'll be sharing some of my own stories to highlight just how important it is to communicate on purpose, especially when it comes to marriage. And you know what? I'm throwing down a little challenge for us to step up our game in nurturing those connections.

Let's face it, making friends as grown-ups can be tough, right? But I'm here to say, let's embrace being vulnerable and put in that effort because it's so worth it. As we wrap up, I want to give you a little nudge to be intentional for your own personal growth and to really dive into becoming your next level. Let's do this together!
3 Powerful Questions to Reflect On:

Hey friend, in this episode of Her.Unlocked Podcast I am sharing with you a reflection I am having after being sober for around 9 months now. I am speaking to this because I want to share this because I know more and more women are seeing the effects of alcohol on how it is impacting their lives.

Alcohol was a big part of my lifestyle prior to being sober, which led to me making the decision to become sober. This was not something that was on my radar and why I want to talk about this is because it has opened me up to so much more in this life. I hope this episode inspires you to think about what you want for your life and that eliminating something that does not serve you well, maybe its alcohol, maybe its something else, won’t leave a void but will unlock so much more abundance than you’ve ever imagined.
